With four days left before I embark on my summer adventure, I ponder upon my vision for this internship. What do I hope to learn from this experience, what do I hope to be able to give of myself. and most importantly as of right now....WHAT DO I PACK?? (Or in my case, what do I leave at home?)
Never having travelled to St. Kitts before, I imagine it will be a bit of a transition, leaving the big city for this small island (population 50,000)....How will I cope with all the sunshine, beaches, and easygoing Caribbean lifestyle???
Excitement with a touch of nervousness in anticipation is what consumes me at this moment! With that, I'm signing off until I arrive in Basseterre. Goodbye Trendy Toronto....Hellooooooooo Sunny St. Kitts!
